Project Manager- Infrastructure

Technical Source is currently in search of a IT Project Manager for our cutting-edge SaaS software client located here in Raleigh, NC. The qualified candidate will have experience working with IT infrastructure, working among cross functional teams, acting as a liaison between stakeholders, and ensure project completion among other tasks.

 

*Responsibilities of the IT Project Manager include:
*

  • Hands-on PM with an infrastructure background
  • Be able to manage and multitask different projects and priorities
  • First two major projects will be centered around integrating file systems under the engineering and HR groups and working with both OCM and DLP vendors.
  • Drive projects, manage schedules, priorities, conflicts and issues that come up. Delegate to right group for resolution
  • Strong negotiating skills to interact with PMO, business stakeholders, end users, vendors to give and take and move forward.

Qualifications of the IT Project Manger include:

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience managing IT Infrastructure projects with a strong IT technical background
  • Strong organizational and project management skills. Formal project management training preferred (PMP or ITIL certification)
  • Experience with DNS, Networking, Integrations of File systems, Barracuda devices
  • OCM (Organizational Change Management) experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to interact successfully with internal and external parties and to present in a primary role
  • Ability to work and thrive independently and have strong problem solving and research skills essential to troubleshoot and resolve issues with minimal guidance
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and MS Project
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills
